ECO-HYBRID EKBSR-1 Solar Aerator is totally self-contained and designed to operate 24 hrs/day based on a sunny days direct sun (batteries not included).

This unit is specifically designed to replace a 150-300 kw "paddle wheel" type aerators using four low profile 4x6' solar arrays and secured battery banks. Arrays are small enough they can be relocated and large enough they can be held secure in one place with the screw type ground anchors provided.

Lets face it, the first thing we learn about electricity is that it does not play nice with water. Putting high power electrical cables in the water or floating electric motors on the water is not safe for fish or man. The experts that push these concepts are going to cost you more money for safety and maintenance than you will ever save on electricity. Our solar aerators use floating draft tube diffused air technology with no electrical parts in, above, or below the water. The only thing in contact with the water is plastic air hose and rubber diffusers. Our solar aerators have half the maintenance cost of the typical "paddle wheel" and ZERO POWER BILLS.

Our 240 watt ECO-HYBRID EKBSR-1can be operated 24/7 as a continuous HIGH EFFICIENCY low cfm oxygenator or it can be operated as a short term HIGH PERFORMANCE, high cfm oxygenator ( 3 to 4 half hour runs daily), just like aquaculture paddle wheels. A flip of a switch and you have the same performance as paddle wheels. In 2-3 meter ponds, even a higher oxygen transfer than 150-300 watt "paddle wheels."

Designed to run as a HIGH PERFORMANCE high cfm aerator for up to 4 hours every day. Just like they do in intensive aquaculture operations. And yes we have an EKBSR-1 installed since 2010 at NOVUS Headquarters (a major fish feed manufacturer) in St. Louis, MO.



Designed with four sixty watt, 12 volt, Solar PV arrays, it meets all local electrical codes and can easily be setup on four 4x6' plywood sheets, or gravel/sand/stone, on dry ground, by anyone who can open the boxes.

EKBSR-1 System Specifications

If you can unpack the box you can setup this aerator in under 60 minutes with a screwdriver and pliers. (not included is site prep time which typically is a flat well drained area, a sheet of black plastic, and gravel/paving bricks). Any flat dry space where the solar panels can face the peak sun.
